Job Description:

Are you looking to use your proven field site management and leadership skills in an organization that supports and protects explorers and heroes? We could use your expertise on our team!
As a Field Site Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to oversee the maintenance servicing, repairing, inspecting, and overhauling of our aircraft and/or aircraft systems and subsystems to ensure that our aircraft and/or systems are in an airworthy condition and are safe for flight. Youll also ensure that all of our customer issues are satisfactorily resolved in a timely and efficient manner. The Sr Field Site Manager will also provide input to program management for budgetary requirements. Manning projections will also be provided by you, at a minimum annually, to ensure proper staffing levels as well as vetting OCONUS operations to ensure all safety, security, billeting, and care and feeding requirements are met.

The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Qualifications You Must Have:

B.A. (or equivalent degree) – a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experience
Typically, 8+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 4+ years of management experience.
Experience with the practical application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices
Progressive experience with Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to service
Ability to understand and execute contract documents such as Performance Work Statement (PWS)
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to Obtain a Class III Flight Physical
Ability to successfully complete the Physiological Training / Altitude Chamber
Previous OCONUS deployment experience managing personnel and aircraft in remote locations
Security Clearance – TS-SCI with the ability to obtain CI Poly

Qualifications We Prefer:

Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation
Understanding of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
