Responsibilities Lead and manage the automotive service team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.. Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to maintain adequate stock for all service needs. Utilize math skills to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and forecast future service demands. Collaborate with retail sales teams to promote services effectively and maximize customer engagement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service department. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to service quality or performance. Assist in monitoring the shop productivity, workflow, and procedures with an emphasis on efficiency, thoroughness, and safety. Help with the day-to-day operations of the back shop, Qualifications Proven experience in an automotive service management role or similar position within the retail or grocery sectors. Familiarity with retail sales strategies, particularly in automotive sales environments. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to market services effectively to customers. Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory management practices. A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. Physical Demands Must be able to frequently lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance. Frequent standing and walking for long periods. Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting. Climb up and down ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise. Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment.
