Candidate should have experience in running a body shop with repairing accidental cars, operating paint booths etc… The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle maintenance and restoration. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team, ensure high-quality service, and maintain a safe working environment. The Shop Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving the shop’s success. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Manage and train staff on best practices in vehicle maintenance, including auto painting, auto glass installation, and general repairs. Oversee inventory management, including ordering parts and supplies as needed. Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition; perform routine inspections. Assist with heavy lifting and mechanical tasks as necessary, providing hands-on support to team members. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Maintain detailed records of repairs, services performed, and customer interactions. Experience Proven experience in an automotive shop environment, with a strong background in body repair and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in auto restoration. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of dealership operations is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
