He/She receives and processes packages for courier shipment, operates copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines and point of sale devices. The Associate also expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services and best value options. The Associate exhibits confidence by knowing best practices as related to the industry. The ideal Center Associate will have 2+ years of retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and generally helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and will be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business. In addition, the Associate will be willing and able to a flexible schedule of 25-40 hours per week (or more as required by management).

Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership Takes ownership of the customer’s shipping needs and offers viable solutions Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment Performs other duties as assigned Able to hire/train/coach other associates
Skills:
- Previous The UPS Store Experience a MUST!
- Strong retail sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proficient in operating a POS system and handling cash transactions
- Ability to effectively demonstrate product features and benefits to customers
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock replenishment procedures
