Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Shop Foreman with 5+ years in the field to join our team. As the Lead Shop Foreman, you will be at the heart of our repair operations, ensuring the successful completion of complex repairs by managing and mentoring technicians. This role combines hands-on vehicle repair work with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both troubleshooting and managing a busy, fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the shop, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, providing guidance and support to technicians as needed. Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring high levels of productivity and quality workmanship. Maintain workflow and ensure timely completion of repairs. Coordinate with parts departments to ensure necessary materials are available. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and shop policies. Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients regarding repair status and work details.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in automotive repair, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Advanced knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair techniques, and shop equipment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. ASE certification (preferred but not required). Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
