Sunday throughSaturdayDesign Within Reach at MillerKnoll is the perfectopportunity for you to grow your career in the interior designindustry. Our Studios serve as both a retail environment and as acommunity center for design, inviting constant interaction betweenthe customer, our furniture, and our team. You will learn the storybehind our iconic products from esteemed designers such as Charlesand Ray Eames and Jens Risom as well as leading manufacturers likeHerman Miller and Knoll. Our General Managers are responsible forall leadership activities within the Studio. You will report to aRegional Manager.

What you’ll do: Build trusting relationships by developing, leading, andmotivating a team through goal setting and providing consistentrecognition, coaching, feedback, and training. Manage the full-life cycle of talent acquisition includingpartnering with Human Resources for performance management relatedsituations. Ensure the Studio procedures are followed to represent the bestin design by utilizing visual directives, presentation, and generalhousekeeping standards in order to maximize profit and manageexpense control goals. Lead team on creating floorplans, design presentations, weeklytrade, and home visits. Build positive working relationships with the Studio team, workwith the Regional Manager and share business insights, bestpractices, and develop strategies to grow the business.

Does thissound like you?

This might be you if you have the following: Retail management experience preferred. Demonstrated design skills and a passion for the designprofession. Financial literacy, business acumen and ability to managebudgetary responsibilities. Proficiency with MS Office software, web navigation and 3-Drendering programs. Able to routinely move objects weighing more than 20 pounds andto understand safety requirements.
