$14.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Description We are looking for a responsible and proactive Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations at our vape and smoke retail location. This role is ideal for someone who has retail or industry experience and is ready to take the next step in leadership. The Assistant Manager helps ensure that customers receive excellent service, the store is well-stocked and organized, and staff are supported and performing effectively. You should be comfortable taking initiative, solving problems on the fly, and filling in for the Store Manager when needed. Key Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in supervising daily store operations Support, coach, and train sales associates on product knowledge and customer service Handle customer concerns and provide solutions with professionalism Maintain inventory organization and restocking as needed Ensure the store is clean, presentable, and compliant with local laws Operate and manage the point-of-sale system accurately Take on opening and closing duties when scheduled Serve as the acting manager when the Store Manager is off-duty Qualifications Prior retail experience required; vape/smoke industry experience is a strong plus Leadership potential and ability to motivate others Strong understanding of vape and smoke products, or willingness to learn quickly Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Must be at least 21 years old Willing to clean, stock, and help out wherever needed—especially during slower times Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Employee discount Growth opportunity into Store Manager or higher leadership roles
