    Area of Responsibilities
  • Responsible for system wide Food & Nutrition Services train the trainer program. Will be responsible for training designated individuals at each location to assist in training of new employees and reeducation of current employees.
  • Will be responsible for making sure competencies for new employees and annual competencies for current employees are completed. Will work with facility managers and supervisors to determine whether further training is needed.
  • Will act as FNS supervisor at any location as determined by management. Will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in absence of the facility supervisor.
  • Will be responsible for assisting managers and supervisors systemwide with annual evaluations of employees by providing feedback of job performance noted throughout the year.
  • Will assist management in developing training materials and guidelines for education of Food & Nutrition Services staff.

Will assist with improving policies, procedures, and objectives with the training and education program. Will provide feedback to management of training materials, policies, and procedures to ensure the department education is accurate and meets all guidelines and regulations.
Compliance Statement

  • Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System’s Ethics and Compliance program.

Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.
Required Knowledge & Skills

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

  • Proven ability to effectively work with others at all levels within and outside the organization.
  • Ability to maintain good public relations with visitors, patients, and staff.
  • Must be able to work with little to no supervision
    Definitions
