DC Shop Supervisor I Position Available In Cobb, Georgia

Job Description The Supervisor, Shop supervises repairs/inspections of equipment according to department policies and applicable laws. This position supervises assigned technicians work assignments, and performs technical inspections, operational procedures, technical training, and safety operations/procedures for the shop. Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, direct, and appraise work.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
• Manage shop operations in compliance with the applicable unionized labor agreement(s).
• Address equipment complaints and resolve problems.
• Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
• Other duties and projects, as assigned.

Requirements Education:

• Associate’s Degree, preferred

Experience:

• Experience and/or training in equipment maintenance, preferred
• Leadership experience preferred.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required

Vendor Management Other Details Work Hours:

• Generally, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Compensation:

• This is a salary position paid biweekly.
• Variable compensation is included.
