WELLNESS: C.N.A./MED TECH (PROXY) Position Available In DeKalb, Georgia

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Must have Med Tech Experience The C.N.A position is responsible for caring for the residents inthe Wellness Department and those residents that may require careon a need by need basis. The candidate will be expected to providecare based on the specific needs of the individual within the scopeof care of a C.N.A. (job description to be provided). Theindividual must possess a C.N.A certification and CPRcertification. May be required to be certified in other areas wherethe Wellness Director sees fit. The C.N.A. is responsible for a higher risk group of people andmust be able to provide urgent care as needed. The individual mustbe able to prioritize well, organize themselves and others well anddetermine best course of action under high pressure situations. The C.N.A. is also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance ofthe department, including regular cleaning of resident rooms anddepartment public space, laundry and other tasks as assigned byWellness management.

We are looking for responsible, passionate people who like to workwith elderly people and are committed to providing care. Thisrequires an ability to be selfless and empathetic to the needs ofothers and a devotion to the work at hand. The candidate must possess a good knowledge of care that isrequired of a C.N.A and have a valid/current certification, as wellas CPR certification. Medication experience/Med Tech in a SeniorLiving Facility is preferred. Must be an organized individual thatis capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking many differentthings.

Mount Vernon Towers is an active seniors community that has 300condominiums that our residents own or lease. We provide arestaurant within the facility called, Table 300 that serves threemeal periods and snacks throughout the day. Our facility offers awide range of activities and things for the residents to do.
