Join our team as a Senior Customer Manager, where you’ll play a key role in delivering our clients’ business objectives and growing market presence—all while maximizing efficiency and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do:
Drive Sales Success:
Execute volume and sales fundamentals (merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving) to meet client goals at assigned accounts—efficiently and effectively.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive Customer Business Plan aligned with client priorities and growth targets.
Build Relationships:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key decision-makers. Present business plans, programs, and innovative concepts that drive long-term success.
Maximize ROI:
Manage budgets and trade marketing funds to ensure optimal return on investment. Oversee all manufacturer expenditures and selling costs.
Retail Excellence:
Ensure superior in-store execution and presence across assigned locations. Collaborate with retail teams on major initiatives like product launches and promotional campaigns.
Data-Driven Selling:
Leverage data and insights to support your sales strategies and influence customer decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams—including marketing, technology, and administration—to align efforts and achieve shared goals.
Continuous Improvement:
Provide feedback to leadership on opportunities to enhance organizational performance and build capacity.
Innovation & Growth:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand client presence and increase volume.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in sales, account management, or customer development—preferably in the CPG or retail industry. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Proficiency in using technology and data to drive business decisions. A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimal Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Arts Degree Experience Requirement:
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in retail (CPG industry), marketing, space management and/or resets. Sales administration or finance experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
Expertise in Microsoft software: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook and thorough knowledge of web based applications. Have excellent presentation and communication skills. Be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. #Discoveryourpath
