You’ll be scooping the best gelato and sorbet in the South while assisting the store manager with day-to-day operations. You will be scooping, tasting, and introducing customers to gelato and sorbets that are made from the highest quality ingredients. All of our gelato and sorbets are handmade in Atlanta. We are a small company, and we only want the best! Our mission is to “make bad days good and good days better by creating delicious gelato and joyful experiences.” We are looking for in individual who embodies this mission and upholds our core values when interacting with vendors, our neighbors, staff and, most importantly, our customers. This individual must possess leadership skills and understand the importance of supporting a team and leading by example. This role is 25-36 hours a week. Requirements :

Be over the age of 18 years Full weekend and weekday availability High School Diploma or GED Previous retail management or customer services/food service preparation experience is highly desirable Have great communication skills Be professional and friendly at all times Ability to learn how to operate POS system and other equipment Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily operations and staff training to ensure high-quality food service. Supervise team members to maintain efficient workflow and uphold hospitality standards. Oversee cleanliness of the scoop shop at all times Review opening and closing checklists to ensure employees performed all tasks Provide weekly reports to the Director of Culture Maintain accurate inventory reports and order inventory as needed Create ways to engage customers Scoop gelato and sorbet, make milkshakes and fill various other orders Oversee quality control for all products Maintain all equipment and immediately report issues
