Assistant Manager/Sales Associate Springhill Suites Marriott 50 Cinema Dr, Ellijay, GA 30540 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving guest experience and brand adherence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, helping to create a positive experience for our guests while fostering a productive work environment for our staff. Duties Assist in managing front desk operations, including performing shifts when necessary and assisting front desk during busier times. Inventory management and merchandising. Provide outstanding guest service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and responding to both negative and positive comments left by guests. Train and orient new employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices. Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring adherence to brand standards and policies. Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in the hiring process. Collaborate with the General Manager to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction. Skills Excellent administrative abilities to manage paperwork and reports efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the guest experience. Experience in employee orientation and training processes. Proficient in shift management to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Knowledge of sales management techniques to drive store performance. Ability to sell available rooms while promoting store initiatives. Experience with interviewing candidates to build a strong team.
