Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Body Shop Manager to oversee our busy body shop operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring quality control, optimizing workflow, and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the body shop, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and support staff. Oversee quality control measures to ensure all repairs meet industry standards. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with insurance companies and customers to provide accurate estimates and updates on repairs. Monitor inventory levels and manage the procurement of parts and materials. Implement and maintain shop policies, procedures, and best practices. Track and report on shop performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive body shop, with at least 1 year in a management role. Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques, tools, and equipment. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in estimating software and shop management systems. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
