This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about craftsmanship. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a small team of skilled artisans, ensuring quality control, and contributing to the fabrication process yourself. This is a leadership role that requires a deep understanding of fine woodworking techniques, premium materials, and the standards of luxury residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily shop operations, production schedules, and workflow Lead by example, participating in hands-on fabrication, assembly, and finishing Maintain quality control standards to ensure exceptional craftsmanship Supervise and support a team of cabinetmakers, finishers, and apprentices Coordinate with designers, project managers, and installers to meet deadlines Oversee inventory, tool maintenance, and shop organization Ensure workplace safety and efficiency at all times

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end cabinetry and/or fine furniture making Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team Deep knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, materials, and finishing techniques Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and plans Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with CNC operations, AutoCAD, or Cabinet Vision is a plus
