Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Retail Store Manager to lead our fabric and textile store. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail operations, staff supervision, inventory management, and delivering exceptional service in a design-forward environment. You will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, cleanliness, and organization Train, supervise, and schedule retail staff Deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge in fabrics and textiles Manage inventory: track stock levels, reorder materials, and receive shipments Maintain visual merchandising standards that reflect our brand and seasonal trends Handle point-of-sale transactions and end-of-day financial reporting Assist with planning and executing in-store events, promotions, and designer outreach Create and maintain effective communication with vendors and clients Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to meet targets Resolve customer issues with professionalism and care

Qualifications:

3+ years of retail management or supervisory experience (preferably in home decor, textiles, or design-related industry) Strong leadership and team-building skills Knowledge or interest in interior design, textiles, or fabric types a plus Excellent customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable using POS systems and basic inventory software

Schedule & Compensation:
