The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a deep understanding of various welding techniques, including Stick welding and FCAW. As a Welding Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and foster a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of the welding team to ensure timely completion of projects. Able to provide time and cost estimates per quote requests. Train and mentor welders on best practices, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment. Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications using tools such as micrometers and calipers. Fabricate and assemble components as needed, ensuring all work meets industry standards. Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all hand tools and equipment are in good working condition. Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve any production issues. Operate forklifts as necessary for material handling within the facility. Seeking a team player, willing to step into multiple roles to ensure company success. Skills Proficient in Stick welding and FCAW techniques with a solid understanding of welding processes. Experience with measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure precision in work. Strong knowledge of hand tools used in welding operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during production.
