Role:
The Retail Manager Assistant plays an essential role in supporting the smooth operation of our retail store, ensuring all daily activities are aligned with the company’s mission and customer satisfaction goals. This position works closely with the Retail Manager to supervise staff, maintain inventory levels, and create a positive, welcoming atmosphere for customers. A key part of this role is to drive the overall customer experience while supporting store profitability and sales growth. The Retail Manager Assistant will also assist in executing promotional initiatives and upholding company policies and procedures. By taking ownership of these responsibilities, the Retail Manager Assistant ensures the store’s success and smooth operational flow. Tailwind encourages Veterans and Military family members to apply!
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in retail or customer service. Must be able to pass background check to receive an airport badge.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in business or related field. Experience in a supervisory role within a retail environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Retail Manager in daily store operations and staff management. Help in training and supervising retail staff to ensure high levels of customer service. Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management and replenishment. Implement promotional displays and merchandising strategies to enhance sales. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
