This position is responsible for managing inventory, training staff, and ensuring that customers receive expert advice on our product offerings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for health and wellness, contributing to an engaging shopping experience. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the vitamin department, ensuring optimal stock levels and product availability. Manage inventory effectively, including ordering, receiving, and organizing products to maintain a well-stocked environment. Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance their knowledge of vitamins and supplements, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Assist in budget management by monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities within the department. Utilize POS systems for sales tracking and inventory management to streamline operations. Provide exceptional customer service by offering knowledgeable recommendations on vitamin products tailored to individual needs. Conduct employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Collaborate with upper management to develop promotional strategies that drive sales in the vitamin category.
