Job Responsibilities The Group Parts Director is a strategic leader who is responsible for the overall success of the parts department, ensuring that it operates efficiently, profitably, and provides excellent customer service. Oversee inventory control, forecasting, and ordering, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste. Hires, trains, motivates, and manages the parts department team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Manages parts sales, including outside sales and customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships. Prepares and manages the parts department budget, tracks expenses, and analyzes performance metrics. Optimizes warehouse operations, shipping and receiving processes, and other logistical aspects of the parts department. Analyzes sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of parts. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Education and/or Experience High School diploma and five years related experience.
