Our client, a global manufacturer of machines for the pulp and paper industry, is seeking a Supervisor of Engineering to join their team. As a Supervisor of Engineering, will manage, lead and coach the engineering team to achieve local site and regional objectives and goals.

Key Responsibilities
Motivate and lead direct reports, communicate targets, goals, and expectations to meet site strategy and budget
Provide technical recommendations and support, both to internal and external customers
Investigate problems and lead in facilitating recommendations for improvements to ensure the highest level of quality throughout product offerings and services provided.
Develop and coach team by increasing their roll knowledge, project management, and enhance skill set
Manage shop jobs with an emphasis on customer service, inside sales, and revenue generation. (10 to 30 open jobs).
Requirements
Engineering Degree
A combination of at least 5 years of related experience in the following industries: Paper & Pulp, Engineering, Service, and/or Machine Shop.
Proven leader with previous experience of managing others
Data analysis background with high proficiency in excel and experience working with databases.
Lean Management, Six Sigma and/or Operational Excellence training preferred
