Soft As A Grape is looking for an Assistant Store Manager in our Falmouth store, who will be responsible for driving business results, developing talent and ensure delivery of excellence in service.

Position Purpose:

Drives business results, develops talent and ensures delivery of excellence in service.

Responsibilities:

Drives business results in assigned store:

• Assists Store Manager with hiring, training and guiding team to reach goals & achieve objectives.
• Running day to day operations.
• Sets clear direction and communicates consistent priorities.
• Ensures adherence to all standard operating procedures, including Human Resource Management, Loss Prevention and Safety.

Develops talent in assigned store:

• Ensures high standards & clear accountability.
• Provides frequent feedback
• Identifies and influences improvements in visual presentation to maximize profitability and results.

Requirements:

• Ensures compliance with all safety guidelines, policies, procedures and expectations.
• Retail experience
• Established time management, organizational skills and communication skills
• Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively to achieve goals
• Ability to travel occasionally between stores
