Summary:

This job contributes to Starbucks & Price Choppers success byleading a team of store partners to create and maintain the StarbucksExperience for our customers and partners. The Starbucks manager isrequired to regularly and customarily exercise discretion in managingthe overall operation of the Starbucks department. In particular,supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions(i.e., hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, discharging, staffingand scheduling), ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality,managing the department financial performance, and managing safety andsecurity within the department. The incumbent is responsible formodeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks & Price chopper guidingprinciples to ensure all corporate and state sanitation procedures andregulations are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drives theimplementation of Starbucks company programs by developing action plansand directly motivating and instructing the team to implement them tomeet operational and organizational objectives.
• Displays a customercomes first attitude by training and holding partners accountable fordelivering legendary customer service
• Manages with integrity, honestyand knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucksand Price Chopper.
• Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegatesappropriate responsibilities and practices to store partners to ensuresmooth flow of operations.
• Provides coaching and direction to thestore team to take action and to achieve operational goals. Constantlyreviews department environment and key business indicators to identifyproblems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to providecoaching and direction to the department team to achieve operationalgoals. Payroll, sales, gross profit, CTO, shrink & inventory levels.
• Monitors and manages department staffing levels to ensure partnerdevelopment and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain storeoperational requirements.
• Solicits customer feedback to understandcustomer needs
• Utilizes management information tools and analyzesfinancial reports to identify and address trends and issues indepartment performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to manageothers and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results andobjectives.
• College degree in business or a closely related field maysubstitute for a portion of the required experience
• Must be 18 yearsof age
• High school or GED
• Ability to manage department operationsindependently
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment
• Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously
• Ability to manage resources to ensure that established service levelsare achieved at all times
