OVERVIEW

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a passionate, people-first storeleader to oversee store operations in their area of the store. TheAssistant Store Manager is responsible for driving the highestlevel of brand and operational excellence throughout the store byensuring our team is delivering hassle-free and engaging customerservice to everyone who enters one of our stores. They prioritizeteammate coaching, development, and wellbeing while stayingengrossed in financial metrics, store performance, and short/longterm planning. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operationalaspects of their store department. Operationally plans andorganizes both short-term and long-term, with the guidance of theStore Manager. Actively recruits in the community and supportsopportunities for teammates to give back to their community.

Partners with store leadership team to hire a strong, inclusive,and diverse team and manage store workforce planning (includingpayroll budget and scheduling). Holds team accountable for meetingoperational guidelines, brand standards, customer serviceexpectations and company policies. Drives shrink results throughcompliance to all guidelines involved with safety, loss prevention,and cash-handling procedures. Transparently communicates and findscreative ways to build an engaging environment for the team.

Passion for coaching and development of oneself and others; infuseslearning into day-to-day leading. Creates an inclusive storeenvironment where everyone (teammates & customers) feels safe,welcome, and is treated with respect.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 yearsof retail management experience (or customer-focused experience)
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
• Flexibleavailability – including nights, weekend, and holidays DSGT2

Targeted Pay Range:

$50,000.00 – $83,600.00. This is part of acompetitive total rewards package that could include othercomponents such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual payis determined by a number of factors including experience,location, internal pay equity, and other relevant businessconsiderations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensurecompetitive and equitable pay.
