We are a team of 23 co-owners, operating 14 bays with 13 technicians from two integrated locations. Automotive Shop Manager We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Automotive Shop Manager to lead our team! If you’re a natural leader with a strong automotive background and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you. As our Shop Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall operation of one of our automotive repair shop locations. This includes managing staff, ensuring high-quality repairs, maintaining customer satisfaction, and overseeing daily business operations to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and motivate a team of automotive technicians and service advisors. Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Operations Management:

Oversee daily shop operations, including workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

Customer Service:

Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction by ensuring clear communication, accurate estimates, and quality repairs. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Technical Oversight:

Provide technical guidance and support to technicians as needed. Ensure all repairs are performed correctly and efficiently.

Inventory & Equipment:

Manage parts inventory, order supplies, and ensure all shop equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

Financial Performance:

Monitor shop performance metrics, manage budgets, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

Quality Control:

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets our high standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience 3+ years in an automotive shop management or a similar leadership role. Strong technical knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a team and drive performance. Proficiency with shop management software and basic computer applications. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
