Cannabis Dispensary Teammate Your Green Thumb Caregiver, LLC Kittery, ME 03904 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cannabis Dispensary Teammate to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our clients. As a Cannabis Dispensary Teammate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products, providing product knowledge, and maintaining an organized and welcoming environment within the dispensary. Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Utilize retail sales techniques, including upselling, to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain an organized stock area by restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about various cannabis products and their uses. Supervise inventory levels and assist in managing stock to ensure availability of popular items. Uphold company policies regarding compliance with state regulations related to cannabis sales. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in a grocery store or similar environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Familiarity with cannabis products is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Basic knowledge of POS systems or willingness to learn new technology quickly. Attention to detail when stocking products and maintaining cleanliness in the dispensary. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to update digital menus on-line and in store. Willingness to learn and grow in an ever changing industry. Must have in possession or be eligible to apply for a Medical Marijuana card. Must Have own transportation and drivers license. Must pass a state background check.
