Overview:
As an Assistant Store Manager (“ASM”), you will useyour customer service and leadership experience to provide awhite-glove experience for our customers. Working closely with yourleaders to develop your leadership skills in real-time, you willhelp coach our Customer Service Representatives and play a key rolein helping the team produce results. Responsibilities:
Provide an exceptional customerexperience throughout the full cycle of the loan or pawn process byeducating consumers and making recommendations based on theirfinancial needs. Assist in customer account management by acceptingpayments, monitoring, and managing customer appointments. Providesupport for recovery processes while maintaining a focus oncustomer service to prevent loss and charge-off accounts. Work tomeet Company-set performance standards by leveragingbusiness-to-business partnership opportunities, obtainingreferrals, and participating in and hosting in-store and communityevents. Develop customer relationships to build new business,maintain store profitability, and further brand loyalty andrecognition. Provide support, coaching, and development to CustomerService Representatives to ensure adherence to quality standardsand safety procedures. Maintain customer information in the Pointof Sale (POS) system with accuracy and integrity. Help ensure awork environment that upholds compliance with Company policies andprocedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws andregulations. Maintain office security protocols and conduct properopening and closing procedures, including management of vault, cashdrawer, and bank deposits. Monitor and maintain internal andexternal store appearance and cleanliness, addressing basicfacility needs and scheduling maintenance services. Workefficiently in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment andhandle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual andteam performance standards. Utilize strong interpersonal skills tocommunicate and interact with customers and Team Members at alllevels. Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regularin-person attendance, including limited Saturday hours, is requiredfor this position. A full-time work schedule for this positionincludes, at a minimum, 40-hours per week•. •Store hours,schedules, and/or the minimum number of hours required for thisposition may be subject to change by brand entity and at the solediscretion of the Company. Qualifications:
High school diploma orequivalent Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional demeanor with customers and peers Meticulous attentionto detail and ability to accurately enter data Valid driver’slicense, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout theworkday (mileage compensated) Proficiency in using phone, Point ofSale, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems Must be at least18 years of age Background check required. All background checksare conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance withapplicable law. Ability to meet the physical demands for thisposition, which frequently include: the ability to remain in astationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, theability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to moveabout inside and outside of the store, and the operation ofmechanical controls, such as a keyboard. Preferred Qualificationsand Skills Experience in check cashing, document verification,and/or money order processing Prior cash handling, cashdrawer/vault management experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) is aplus and may be required for certain locations
