Habitat of Brunswick County locations are open to the public and sell new and gently-used furniture, appliances, home décor, artwork, lighting, building materials and more at a fraction of the retail price. All proceeds from the Habitat of Brunswick County ReStores are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter for hard-working families right here in Brunswick County.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Store Manager in daily administrative and operational tasks. Lead the store in the Manager’s absence, ensuring smooth operations. Maintain safety standards for staff, volunteers, and customers. Handle cash reconciliation and bank deposits. Oversee pricing, inventory turnover, and merchandising. Provide hands-on leadership to staff and volunteers. Deliver excellent customer service and represent Habitat in a positive way.
What We’re Looking For:
Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently (and occasionally up to 100 lbs). Experience in retail or customer service leadership roles. Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills. Comfortable with light equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.). Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, email, etc.). Flexible availability, including weekends and some evenings.
