is a top tier, family run, trading card and sports memorabilia store with two stores in North Carolina. Brands we sell include Topps, Bowman, Upper Deck, Panini, Leaf, Fanatics, and more. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented, Sports-minded Store Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for sales, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales performance while maintaining high standards of customer service. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory control, and sales performance. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve individual and store-wide sales goals. Oversee cash register operations, ensuring accurate transactions and adherence to company policies. Conduct regular inventory assessments to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shrinkage. Provide training and support to staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices to ensure our customers get the best in-store experience possible in a fun and inviting environment! Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among employees. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Must be willing and able to identify/participate in local community events and trading card shows. Must be a stickler for Policy and Procedures and ensuring loss prevention standards are followed and company assets are well protected. Experience Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role is preferred with a customer first mentality. Strong sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. A strong merchandiser. Proficient in cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with inventory management practices is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members. Sports knowledge a must. Need to know both current stars and Hall of Famers in the MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, and Pro Soccer. Be a follower of NCAA Sports!
