COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers. Essential Functions Provides oversight and management of daily operations of the Referral Department.
Prepares schedules for area of responsibility based on assess needs, maintaining appropriate staffing for the area at all times
Interviews and assists Manager in selecting candidates in accordance with departmental policy
Participates in counseling of employees with performance concerns and initiates disciplinary action in accordance with Human Resources policies
Participates in coaching and development of individual team members by providing structured feedback for each staff member through yearly development plans and formal follow-up at least twice a year; Completes timely performance appraisal for direct reports• Performs data collections and audits to support grant requirements and for quality improvement measures to support operational effectiveness and appropriate budget management
Supports implementation of projects and programs
Responsible for training and development activities for the employees
Assures that new staff receives appropriate orientation outlined by the organization and the department
Conducts appropriate investigation and follows-up on individual and patient complaints
Serves as a liaison between providers, clients, clinical staff and ancillary departments to promote high patient and other team member satisfaction
Collaborate and maintains good working relationship with other departments
Participates in the decision-making processes for hiring new employees
