Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Lexington is seeking qualified applicants for the position of EAF Lead. Responsibilities will include developing Nucor culture where safety is a value that is continually demonstrated. Other responsibilities will include selecting, teaching, and training a team in all aspects of steel production while working closely with peers within the leadership team to develop consistent guidelines for the Nucor Lexington team. In addition, this person will be required to travel with the team to Nucor divisions for training in operations, evaluating teammates for operational positions, and defining specific training curriculum for each position. Minimum Qualifications:
+ Prior Melt Shop experience. + Willingness to work a flexible schedule and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications:
