Job Description

Furniture Outlet Store Manager (Gastonia, NC) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Gastonia, NC We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Furniture Outlet Store Manager to launch our new store in Gastonia NC and oversee all aspects of store operations. The Store Manager is responsible for planning work schedules, supervising employees, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with store procedures. The ideal candidate prioritizes high levels of customer satisfaction and is passionate about helping customers with their home furnishing needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise store employees. Schedule shifts and assign tasks.

Leads Store Personnel:

Ensure employees perform all required duties while maintaining high levels of customer interaction and service.

Store Operations:

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained. Manage cash handling and financial transactions. Coordinates store layout and prepares or directs workers in preparing merchandise displays.

Inventory Control:

Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and tracking merchandise. Ensure optimal inventory levels.

Customer Service:

Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly. Maintain a best-in-class level of customer service.

Communication:

Maintain strong communication skills. Regularly communicate with senior leaders, attend meetings, and participate in calls as needed.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.

Reporting:

Review of regular reports on sales, inventory, and employee performance. Provide feedback to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Availability:

Evening and weekend availability is required.

Education:
High School Diploma Experience:

Sales experience required. 2-4 years of management experience.

Skills:

Strong salesperson, leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in inventory management and sales strategies.

PAY SUMMARY

Expected offer range: $45,000 – $60,000 plus sales commission. The actual salary will be based on factors such as relevant experience and skills.
