Job Description

Orthodontic Department Manager 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 15 Rawls Church Road, Angier, NC 27501 Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Department Manager (ODM) to join our team!

Overall Responsibility:

The ODM trains and holds the office managers in their department accountable for production, collection, accounts receivable, the daily operations of the dental offices as well as managing employee and patient relations and increasing overall staff morale ad patient satisfaction.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks will include, but are not limited to: Under the direction of the CEO/Regional, updates and implements uniform policies and procedures across all ortho offices within the company Check all dashboards daily Effectively manages and trains the office managers in their department Ensures production/collections remain within acceptable range as defined by budgeted goals while always seeking ways to increase them Consistently review receivables to address and pinpoint potential issues before they become problems Ensures compliance with established company policies within each office Works closely with the Director of HR and Office Managers in staffing related issues; appraises performance; rewards, disciplinary action, hiring and termination process of the administrative staff Report to Clinical Director any necessary clinical related issues Approve administrative staff absence reporting Addresses complaints and resolves issues Other duties as assigned Skills & Attributes Excellent planning and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and manner Computer literacy Job Specifications High school diploma or GED Ability to lift 15-20lbs At least 2 years’ experience in Ortho Experience in Ortho related software; Preferably Dolphin Ability to travel
