What you’ll be doing: Overseeing the daily operations of the Showroom, includingsales, customer service, and maintenance. The main responsibility for our Assistant Store Manager is towork with, mentor and train a team of commissioned sales associatesto increase the quality of the customer experience and salesprofitability, thereby helping the sales associates to increasetheir income. Ensure customers are provided the best service and are pleasedwith purchases and deliveries. Training and developing a high performing sales team, includingimplementing individual and team goals in order to maximizepotential. Coaching each sales consultant to establish realistic salesgoals for each month and developing an action plan, while offeringthem advice, support, and motivation to help them meet their salesobjectives. Assist in maintaining a clean, inviting and well-presentedshowroom. Whenever possible, participating in the sales process in orderto enhance the customer shopping experience, as well as utilizingthe experience to educate your associate. Assist in maintaining a positive morale among staff. What we’re looking for: These rewarding and challenging hands-on-management positionsrequire strong mentoring, coaching and development skills with theability to motivate teams to achieve results. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 2years of experience in retail sales management, specifically withexperience focused in the furniture industry managing commissionedsales associates. Additionally, strong verbal and written communication skillsare required, with a preference given to candidates that are fluentin both English and Spanish. Having knowledge of computer programs like Outlook, Word andExcel is necessary to be successful. The ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedulewhich includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays isrequired. The desire to succeed in a sales driven environment is key.
