Role Overview As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our boat shop’s operations, including but not limited to sales, service, inventory management, and customer relations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve business goals, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment. Service writing and assisting technicians with quotes and customer communication. Pay based on experience

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership:

Manage day-to-day operations of the boat shop, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all departments.

Sales Management:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets, including promotions, pricing, and customer engagement initiatives.

Advertising:

Manage and keep up to date with marketing trends for social media, the website and other platforms.

Inventory Control:

Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Staff Development:

Recruit, train, and mentor staff members, fostering a team-oriented culture focused on customer satisfaction and professional growth.

Customer Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and customers. Qualifications Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the marine industry. Strong understanding of business operations, sales strategies, and financial management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office programs and photo shop. Passion for boating and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
