We’re working with a top-performing commercial roofing and exterior services contractor actively seeking a Service Department Manager to lead and grow their Hampton Roads service operations. What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead daily operations of the service department across the Hampton Roads region Hire, train, and manage service techs, managers, and administrative staff Set and monitor goals for safety, performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Collaborate with sales and executive teams to grow the service line and expand market share Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and fleet maintenance Improve workflows using operational software like Salesforce, Procore, or equivalents Ensure accurate job costing, timely billing, and clear client communication
What You Bring:
5-7 years of commercial roofing experience, including 3+ years in a service/warranty leadership role Hands-on knowledge of systems such as TPO, BUR, Modified, Coatings, Metal, Tile, and Shingles Strong communication and team leadership skills OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred Tech-savvy with tools like Microsoft Office, Procore, Salesforce (or equivalent) Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred); ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Familiarity with fleet operations and maintenance a plus Bonus Certifications (Preferred, Not Required):
OSHA 30 CERTA
Forklift, Rigging, Manlift, Crane CCL Training Manufacturer-specific certifications
