Store Manager Asheboro ABC Board 700 South Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC 27203 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive the success of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a keen understanding of inventory control and sales management. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and developing your team to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities Manage daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies. Provides or assures proper resources are regularly given to all subordinates enabling their understanding of and compliance with state laws, ABC Commission regulations and Asheboro ABC Board policies regulating the possession, sale and transportation of spirituous liquors. Oversee inventory control processes, including stock management. Lead training development initiatives to enhance team performance and product knowledge. Foster a positive work environment through team management and motivation. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring qualified candidates for store positions. Implements and executes performance management system according to policy and schedule. Equitably and routinely delegates tasks and work assignments. Requirements 2 years experience in retail management or a similar role. Strong skills in inventory control, sales management, and customer service. Excellent team management abilities. Proficient in using POS systems and Quickbooks knowledge for transactions and inventory tracking. Ability to speak, read and write English in a capacity sufficient to perform the necessary communication tasks of the position. Must have basic math skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
