Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring efficient and effective service, maintaining high standards of food quality, and managing a team of staff members.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures. Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards, policies, and procedures. Monitor and maintain food safety and hygiene standards. Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff. Schedule and organize shifts to ensure adequate staffing levels. Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance. Foster a positive work environment.
Customer Service:
Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction. Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively. Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
Financial Management:
Monitor financial performance and meet sales targets. Control operational costs and labor expenses. Prepare and analyze financial reports.
Quality Control:
Ensure the consistent quality of food and service. Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations. Adhere to McDonald’s corporate policies and guidelines.
Communication:
Maintain effective communication with staff, upper management, and corporate offices. Conduct regular meetings to discuss goals, updates, and address issues.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus).
Experience:
Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role. Familiarity with McDonald’s operating procedures is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
Certifications:
Food safety certification may be required.
Availability:
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$52,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
