We pride ourselves on professionalism, product education, and exceptional service. Position Summary The Store Manager plays a critical leadership role at Hempie’s. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a 24-hour retail store, managing a large team, ensuring compliance with all company policies and state regulations, optimizing inventory control, and driving sales and team performance. This is a hands-on management position requiring a highly organized, dependable, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities ????? Operations Management Oversee all aspects of daily store operations in a 24/7 setting. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the sales floor, back-of-house, and storage areas. Ensure all opening, mid-shift, and closing duties are performed accurately and on time. Monitor and enforce security protocols, cash handling procedures, and ID compliance policies. ???? Team Leadership & Scheduling Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of budtenders, leads, and keyholders. Create and manage weekly shift schedules, ensuring proper coverage at all hours. Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-one coaching, and performance evaluations. Enforce company policies and assist HR in disciplinary actions when necessary. ???? Inventory & Compliance Monitor all incoming and outgoing product inventory, ensuring accuracy and full traceability. Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to minimize shrink and discrepancies. Coordinate with vendors, delivery drivers, and the Procurement team to receive and process new product. Ensure proper labeling, product storage, and COA documentation in compliance with NC regulations. ???? Sales, Merchandising & Customer Experience Analyze store performance metrics and implement strategies to increase sales and customer retention. Ensure visual merchandising is consistent with brand standards and seasonal promotions. Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and prompt resolution. Encourage product knowledge and upselling techniques among team members. ???? Administrative & Reporting Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to sales, labor, inventory, and incidents. Communicate regularly with the Regional Manager and HQ departments regarding store needs. Submit maintenance requests, supply orders, and store-level feedback as necessary. Support onboarding and training of new employees and leadership team members. Qualifications ?
Required:
3+ years of retail management experience (high-volume or 24-hour environment preferred) Strong inventory management and reconciliation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead by example and handle high-pressure situations Proficient in POS systems, scheduling platforms, and basic office software (Excel, Word, Google Workspace) Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Must be at least 21 years of age ????
Preferred:
