Managers are responsible for store staffing, scheduling, and associate training, and development. Managers will also play an important role in local marketing efforts, proactive selling, and building solid relationships with contractors and homeowners. Additionally, the Manager initiates and enforces all policies and procedures to ensure that exemplary customer service is provided.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Maintains inventory to ensure availability for the customer. 2. Analyzes sales information and identifies customer requirements and trends. 3. Approves all discounts and/or adjustments to any sale. 4. Reviews and manages all warranty claims. 5. Executes marketing strategies to meet profitability and customer service goals. 6. Provide estimates, process invoices, and accepts payment from customers and contractors. 7. Calculate amounts such as square footage, linear footage, area, circumference, volume, percentages, discounts, and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 8. Maintains professional and technical knowledge of products by participating in workshops or by participation in related professional organizations or societies. 9. Keeps maintenance records and coordinates repairs for all equipment and vehicles. 10. Maintains consistent attendance at the location during business hours and is available by cell phone. Must be available for emergencies as needed. 11. Effective oral and written communication with customers, employees, and vendors. 12. Maintain compliance with all legal requirements and ensure all company policies and procedures are followed. 13. Develops location specific action plans to improve selling behaviors and activities that drive performance versus plan. 14. Other duties as assigned.
