Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail puppy store. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Duties:

• Ensure that puppy welfare is the highest priority.
• Manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive store sales and achieve revenue targets.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise store staff to ensure high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to adjust store merchandising strategies accordingly.
• Maintain optimal merchandise levels by overseeing inventory control procedures.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members and provide feedback for improvement.
• Create a positive, fun and safe working environment for the team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
• Provide emergency puppy care as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail management with a strong understanding of sales principles.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong administrative skills with proficiency in math for managing budgets and inventory.
• Ability to recruit, interview, and train employees effectively.
• Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
