Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager will oversee a restaurant location’s staff and activities to achieve a profitable restaurant location. The purpose of the Assistant Store Manager position is to produce products & services 100% to Brand Standard 100% of the time.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Expected to be on site a minimum of five days/week Interviews, selectively hires, and trains staff for the restaurant location. Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of staff. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles progressive discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. Maintain a fully trained restaurant Lead that performs 100% to Brand Standard. Achieve a predetermined restaurant sales increase Achieve a specific staff labor cost, restaurant controllable income, and an average Restaurant Audit score of >97% annually
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees staff and fulfills staffing needs for regular hours as well as special events or high-traffic times. Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations. Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly; and reports as prescribed by company policies. Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships. Plans, organizes, and coordinates sales, marketing, and budgeting with Store Manager. Develops, oversees, and maximizes restaurant budget and product inventory, purchasing, and sales. Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks. Collaborates with regional managers and owners to develop, coordinate, and identify cost-effective advertising and hiring strategies. Uses company software to research, analyze, and track purchases. Ensures that the restaurant always looks clean and inviting. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Google Workspace or related software. Organized with attention to detail. Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask. Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate staff. Excellent customer service abilities. Ability to develop and maintain budgets. Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Restaurant Administration, or related field is highly preferred, but less formal education with more on-the-job experience may be substituted. At least two years of restaurant experience are highly preferred. Successful completion of the company’s management training program.
Physical Requirements:
