Assistant Manager Pelham, NH | Discount Madness | Full-Time Available Discount Madness, a family-owned retail store in Pelham, is looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our busy sales floor. This is a hands-on role supporting the Floor Manager in keeping things running smoothly — and making sure our store looks great, runs efficiently, and serves customers with a smile. If you’ve got retail experience and love a fast-paced environment where every day is a little different, this could be the right fit.

Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day operations of cashiers and sales clerks Help open and close the store, including register counts and end-of-day procedures Maintain, stock, and reset product displays on the sales floor Pull merchandise from the warehouse (beneath the sales floor) to keep shelves full and displays fresh Step in on the floor to assist with customer service, cashiering, or stocking Support the Floor Manager in upholding store policies and maintaining team standards

What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory role Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Willingness to lead by example and get your hands dirty Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Someone who takes initiative — if something’s low or off, you fix it or assign it Comfort with multitasking and supporting a variety of store tasks
