Common Man Roadside Assistant Coffee Shop Manager Granite State Hospitality 530 West River Road, Hooksett, NH 03106 Common Man Roadside is hiring an Assistant Coffee Shop Manager for their Hooksett location! This position contributes to the success of our cafes by assisting the Barista Manager and Manager on duty in day-to-day café operations. You will use your knowledge and strengths to help the barista team grow, to help create and maintain a better guest first culture every shift.
Position Responsibilities :
Café
Service Operations:
Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas. Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them. Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions. Receive and process customer payments. Serve prepared foods, such as muffins, sweets, or bagels. Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items. Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for preparation. Wrap, label, or date food items for sale. Put the guest first and give phenomenal guest service by anticipating needs. Follow and support all standards and practices set by the barista manager and all other management.
Leadership:
To use all tools and resources provided to respectfully direct the work of others. Take ownership of and utilize checklists to set up and run a successful shift as well as hold the team accountable. To act honestly and keep a calm demeanor during peak periods. To communicate with the café manager about any successes, feedback, and concerns. To assist in training new baristas and maintaining an environment to help them succeed.
