Job Summary:

The Floor Manager holds a pivotal role in maintaining the store’s atmosphere and operational efficiency, acting as a key holder and shift supervisor. Responsible for overseeing daily store operations, the Floor Manager ensures that the team delivers exceptional customer service while adhering to regulatory and store policies. This role involves direct customer interaction, staff supervision, and contributing to the store’s overall performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the day-to-day store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience Act as a key holder, responsible for opening and closing the store, and ensuring the safety and security of staff and inventory Supervise the floor staff, ensuring that each team member is delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to store policies and regulations Assist customers by providing product recommendations, answering questions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Coordinate with the leadership team to ensure the store is adequately stocked and that the product displays are organized and attractive Train and mentor staff, fostering an environment of learning and development Handle customer complaints and issues professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to store policies Maintain store cleanliness and ensure that the store’s appearance aligns with brand standards Assist in inventory counts and restocking as required Comply with all legal regulations and company policies concerning the sale of cannabis Perform administrative tasks, including managing schedules, sales reporting, and cash handling

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail management or other supervisory role, preferably in the cannabis industry Proficient understanding of cannabis products and New Jersey state regulations governing the sale of cannabis Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to effectively develop and mentor a diverse team Experience with and strong understanding of point-of-sale systems Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills Must be at least 21 years old

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• 1-2 years in retail management or other leadership role

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to bend or kneel repetitively
