Puffin, a leading dispensary in Central Jersey, is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our retail team and drive revenue growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and is passionate about team leadership, sales performance, and retail excellence. We are not necessarily looking for cannabis experience—we’re looking for a proven sales leader who knows how to build a high-performing team, create effective sales strategies, and execute consistently.

Salary:

$60,000 base + performance bonuses + commissions

What You’ll Do:

Own the sales strategy for the store: identify opportunities, set targets, and implement plans to meet and exceed revenue goals Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to consistently deliver exceptional customer service and maximize sales Analyze sales data and KPIs to make informed decisions and present actionable insights to leadership Develop and implement incentive programs and training to drive individual and team performance Partner with store leadership on staffing, scheduling, and daily retail operations Support store compliance and operational standards, but with a primary focus on growth and profitability

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience in retail sales or sales management, preferably in a high-volume or commission-based setting Proven ability to lead a team to meet or exceed sales goals Strong analytical skills and experience building sales reports and forecasts Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and a strong sense of accountability Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Cannabis experience is not required—we welcome candidates from all strong retail sales backgrounds Why Join Puffin?
