Part-Time Night Manager Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Night Manager to oversee the evening operations and ensure the store closes smoothly and efficiently. As a Night Manager, you will lead the store team, manage the closing procedures, maintain store safety and security, and ensure a high standard of customer service until the store closes.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the store’s closing procedures, including cashier checkout, and securing the premises. Ensure all store areas are properly cleaned and organized at the end of each shift. Supervise, motivate, and support store associates during the evening shift. Handle any staff concerns, provide guidance, and address issues as they arise. Provide feedback on employee performance to management. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns or complaints and ensuring satisfaction. Ensure customers’ needs are met efficiently and in a friendly manner. Ensure the store is secure at the end of each shift, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Ensure that stock is replenished and properly organized throughout the night.

Qualifications:

Previous retail or grocery store experience is preferred. Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve customer complaints effectively. Basic math skills and ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as necessary.

Schedule:

Part-time evening shift Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
