We are seeking a Print Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in our Edgewood, NY location. In this role reporting to the Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for the operation of a single-shift within the print operations with approximately 10 – 20 direct reports. This includes staff supervision, production, training staff, reporting critical operational information to management, ensuring that required service levels are met or exceeded, and meeting cost/unit targets. You will ensure that all work is processed in priority order in a timely and cost-effective manner, and monitor work assigned to each operator/machine throughout the shift, to ensure that resources are being utilized effectively. You will work with hardware/software vendors to ensure that equipment/software issues are resolved on a timely basis. The work hours are Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM ET. This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Responsibilities:

Ensures that operators follow procedures and produce quality work on a timely basis; recommends cost containment initiatives to management to reduce expenses where possible and prudent Works with management to develop staff schedules to meet department and business commitments, and to identify key staff/top performers and implements plans to help them reach their full potential Monitors machine down-time and ensures that all problems are logged and reported to equipment vendors on a timely basis; follows up to ensure all equipment problems are satisfactorily resolved Follows up with Client Services to resolve issues with print requests that cannot be completed (e.g., due to file, printer, or job specification issues), ensuring that all client service level commitments are consistently met or exceeded Notifies management of any potential problems as they relate to staffing, workflow, equipment, and scheduling, and recommends solutions Prepares daily production reports to monitor productivity, backlogs, and service levels Cross-trains staff to ensure that multiple backups are available to support each function within the operation; documents operator procedures and ensures that all staff are appropriately trained to perform their required functions Monitors employee/temp attendance and ensures that guidelines/policies are strictly adhered to; provides feedback to staff and administers corrective action procedures as per policies

Requirements:

College degree preferred but not required 1-3 years of Supervisory experience preferred, in Production, Warehouse, Retail, etc., including developing talent, performance reviews, monthly meetings, ability to have difficult conversations with employees Print experience with print equipment is a plus, but not required Basic to Intermediate skill level with ExcelMS Word, Outlook Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and motivate team to continually improve performance (in terms of quality, client service and cost effectiveness) Ability to motivate staff, build morale, and learn and understand the equipment The salary range for this position is: $80,000 – $85,000 annual. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate’s final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
