Our client is a fast-paced, fashion-forward retail brand with a strong presence in New York City. Their mission is to deliver an exceptional customer experience through high-quality products and a culture rooted in creativity, collaboration, and customer service excellence. They are now looking for a Retail Sales Supervisor.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Retail Sales Supervisor must be experienced and enthusiastic to support daily operations in our NYC retail location. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, team motivator, and customer service expert who thrives in a high-volume retail environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RETAIL SALES SUPERVISOR

Supervise and coach sales associates to meet performance goals.
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a customer-first environment.
Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are met.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
Assist with inventory management and restocking.
Help recruit, train, and onboard new team members.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE RETAIL SALES SUPERVISOR

2+ years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Proven ability to drive sales and motivate a team.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE RETAIL SALES SUPERVISOR

Experience working in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle retail.
Familiarity with POS systems and inventory tools.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent.
