For this (Temporary) Assistant Manager, Culture & Partnership role, we are looking for the ideal candidate who has a bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in related areas of art, culture, education or dance. Luxury experience is a plus. Analytics experience is a essential. This candidate should be able to travel 10% of the time. Ability to work outside of normal business hours. Project management/organizational skills are a must. Strong working knowledge of Windows environment, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge. Proficiency in French is a plus. What are we expecting from you? This role is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager, Culture & Education in all partnerships and cultural endeavors / educational initiatives for VCA Americas. The ideal candidate has experience in the fields of Culture/Arts, and knowledge, familiarity, and comfortability among the premiere cultural institutions across our region. The person is an excellent communicator, self-driven and curious with high organizational skills and a large capacity for projects + multi-tasking. S/he demonstrates an ability to grasp luxury retail, coupled with interest and curiosity in the fields of education, dance, art and exhibition. This person has an eye for detail, is exceptionally thorough in his/her work, and brings enthusiasm to the department. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Culture & Education, and is based in New York City. The ideal candidate will support internal communications, external exchanges with key partners, and evaluation / analytics of regional participation at the retail level. This role will support the health, visibility of and capacity to ensure a strong presence of our Cultural Pillars in the Americas Region. You will be responsible for the following: Support Manager in Cultural Relations across region Facilitate evaluations and vetting of potential new partnerships for retail at the regional level through the lens of the Maison
Monitor ROI / qualitative value of existing partnerships with retail and CRM across the region
Engage with the local arts community; develop relationships with partners and familiarity with their programming in key + emerging markets
Ensure all local partner benefits are flagged and utilized for pertinent audiences
Track new requests for evaluation through determination
Maintain / modify partnerships index Build Educational L’Ecole / Patrimonial Presence Streamline and support requests to HQ Educational partners for input and requests for animation/market visits
Coordinate set-up and logistical details when welcoming or hosting key members of L’Ecole or Patrimony to the Americas
Maintain/bolster internal and external catalogues of exhibition, speakers and corresponding componentry and their traveling schedules worldwide for Patrimony & L’Ecole
Maintain / ensure timely procurement of corresponding assets of exhibition or presentation shared with or in our region
Support L’Ecole in any of its formats in the region: Evening Conversation, Stone Week, Nomadic Pop-Up Reinforce Dance Reflections Program & Efforts Support in-market festivals in all capacities
Provide evergreen assistance in non-festival time periods in line with Contemporary Dance awareness / support efforts set forth by Dance Director and local leadership
Coordinate regular meetings where needed and support relations with growing Dance Reflections communities in-region Strengthening Corporate Cultural Endeavors Monitor and ensure strategic/timely Maison use of partner benefits
Coordinate on-location meetings and schedule check-ins as directed by terms of agreement
Prepare ROI / evaluations with qualitative and quantitative information
Ensure Maison familiarity with new and existing enrichment programs offered by each institution
Ensure maximum support/participation by all regional markets who could be touched by initiatives
Manage logistics of pre-negotiated partner imprint on VCA activations / events Bolster and codify departmental results Ensure compliance protocol across all dept-transactions
Apply detailed quantitative and qualitative data points quarterly and for mid/end of year discussion/presentation
Support preparation of regular business presentations under Manager as required More than a role…we recruit for a career!
